BLUES TRIO (Pera Joe & Homesick Mac).
This CD is a compilation of previously unreleased live material - recordings made during the Blues Trio's 20+ years (here between 1993-2004). Everything was recorded in Serbia and the guys throw in some nice folk - influenced stuff as well. The instrumental "Ima Dana" (Sometimes) was improvised on a gig, and they've even played a piece of a real Serbian "Kolo" (dance) right in the middle of a medley of "Down By The Riverside/When The Saints Go Marching In", also improvised. "Can't Hold Out" is far from Homesick Mac being an acoustic player, they were both amplified there just as much as they could be.
These are live recordings as on all other CDs The Blues Trio released, and there were only two songs that they ever recorded in the studio during their whole career.
"Sometimes/Ima Dana" (folk, instrumental)
"Riverside/Saints" (trad.)
"Can't Hold Out" (Elmore James)
"Key To The Highway" (Big Bill Broonzy)
Also on this CD:
"Walk On", Mama, Keep Your Big Mouth Shut", Mercury Boogie", "I'm Ready", "Rattlesnakin' Daddy", "Statesboro Blues", Custard Pie Blues", "Dust My Broom", "Me And A Devil Blues", Roll And Tumble Blues", "Who Do You Love"
