| I've received many emails with the same question - how was it done and by whom? The installation and the whole solution is the result of Sam Mitchell's and Ole Kehlet's discussions somewhere in 1996. Ole Kehlet is the master luthier from Denmark (Woodsound Music in Copenhagen) who has very long experience of custom work wheather we're talking acoustic or electric guitars. His impecable work made it possible to have the pickup halfways "hanging" in the coverplate net, very tricky. Later on, my urge for experimenting and search for the ultimate sound took me away from this solution and if you watch the next image you'll see what I mean. |
